This vector is a mammalian expression plasmid designed for robust transgene expression in a wide range of mammalian cell types.
It contains the enhanced yellow fluorescent protein (EYFP) driven by cytomegalovirus (CMV) promoter for high level expression in mammalian cells.
The multiple cloning site (MCS) is located at the C-terminus in frame with EYFP. This enables the generation of N-terminal EYFP fusion proteins.
Plasmid carries ampicillin resistance for bacterial selection and neomycin resistance for stable selection with G418 in eukaryotic cells.
