EF1α-EGFP Mammalian Expression Plasmid (pReg-EF1α-EGFP-v6)

This vector is a mammalian expression plasmid designed for robust transgene expression in a wide range of mammalian cell types, including hard-to-transfect cell lines, stem cells, and primary cell cultures.

It contains the enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) driven by human elongation factor-1 alpha (EF1α) constitutive promoter for high, stable, long-term  expression in mammalian cells.

Plasmid contains ampicillin resistance for bacterial selection and neomycin resistance for stable selection with G418 in eukaryotic cells.

This plasmid is an excellent choice for researchers performing transient or stable transfection experiments in a wide range of mammalian cell lines. The bright EGFP reporter allows convenient visualization of transfected cells and monitoring of protein expression without additional staining.
