This vector is a mammalian expression plasmid designed for robust transgene expression in a wide range of mammalian cell types, including hard-to-transfect cell lines, stem cells, and primary cultures.
It contains the enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) driven by human elongation factor-1 alpha (EF1α) constitutive promoter for high, stable, long-term transgene expression in mammalian cells.
The multiple cloning site (MCS) is located at the C-terminus in frame with EGFP. This enables the generation of N-terminal EGFP fusion proteins.
Plasmid contains ampicillin resistance for bacterial selection and neomycin resistance for stable selection with G418 in eukaryotic cells.
